Amazon and Facebook Integration
It seems that Amazon might finally jump on the whole Social Networking bandwagon, with a deeper and more intertwined Facebook integration. It’s about time, if you ask me. Yes, I know, I am biased. These are two of my most visited online destination – I’ve outsourced most of my socializing activities to Facebook quite some time ago, and as an Amazon top reviewer I spend a lot of time on that site, writing reviews and checking out products that I am either buying or people are interested in sending me for review. I’ve been reluctant to post most of my Amazon reviews to my Facebook feed though – I don’t think they are for the most part relevant to the people who follow me there, and don’t want to clutter their newsfeeds this way. However, if my Facebook friends would WANT to get more info about the reviews I’ve written, then I would be more than happy that they find what I’ve written directly on Amazon’s site. Hopefully I can be of help to them, and maybe, just maybe, my reviews will get an additional boost. Hey, it’s not easy being at the top, and every bit of friendly promotion helps.

Bojan Tunguz
Bojan Tunguz was born in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which he and his family fled during the civil war for the neighboring Croatia. Over the past two decades he has studied, lived and worked in the United States. He is a theoretical physicist with degrees from Stanford and University of Illinois. Tunguz has taught physics at several prominent liberal arts colleges and has been writing about physics, science and technology for more than a decade.
