Poweradd iPhone 6 Plus Case
This is one of the nicer looking and sturdier iPhone cases. It is also, despite my first impressions, very light and thin case, and it will not substantially add bulk to your already imposing iPhone 6 plus.
The case is made out of two layers of plastic (plus a small metal strip in the middle) – softer inner layer, and the more rigid outer layer. I was actually hoping that, like some other similar cases that I’ve tested, the inner layer would be made out of soft silicone sleeve. Those kinds of cases are the most shock absorbing ones that I’ve tested. So even though this case is pretty shock absorbant, it doesn’t quite provide me with the level of protection that I wanted.
The case is a bit hard to put on. You need to pull it apart a little bit for the phone to fit in. Pulling the phone out is even more difficult, so you have to make sure that this is really the case that you like before you put it on. It will most likely stay in place for the duration of your phone’s useful life.
I really like this phone’s design. It’s very modern and techy-looking. It’s definitely not the kind of design that would appeal to everyone, but for geeks and similar types it will certainly have a lot of appeal.
The case is fingerprint and scratch resistant, and it has all the appropriate openings for the headphones, camera, and the charging dock. The volume control is covered with the soft inner plastic, and that somewhat diminishes the sensitivity of those buttons. The texture of the case feels really good in your hand and it provides you with a solid and comfortable grip.
Overall, this is a very nice looking and well-designed product that will give your Galaxy S4 smartphone additional protection, and provide you with a peace of mind while using it in all sorts of situations.
