pitaka Aramid (Kevlar) Fibre Case For iPhone 6 Plus

Screen Shot 2015-04-04 at 12.14.19 PMI am not a big fan of smartphone cases. I believe that iPhone is one of the best consumer electronics products ever designed, and I hate to have its beauty obstructed. I eventually stopped using cases with my iPhone 4S, and have not had any issues because of it. I had dropped that phone several times without any serious issues. However, iPhone 6 happens to be a much more fragile beast. Its glass cover, which extends well over the phone’s edge, is easily chipped and scratched, something that has unfortunately already happened to my iPhone 6 plus. So I have been on a lookout for an adequate case for a while, but until I came across this Pitake case none were really after my taste. This case, however, almost perfectly fits my needs.

The case is very minimalistic, and in terms of weight and bulk it adds the absolute minimum to your phone. The case is relatively easy to fit, yet it clings to your iPhone very snuggly. Unlike some other cases that I’ve tried, however, it can still be relatively easily removed if a need be.

The case leaves all of your ports and buttons accessible. This is another thing that I like about this case. I’ve used some other cases which leave the ports accessible, but cover the buttons with a rubberized sleeve. This makes them much less responsive.

When it comes to resilience and durability of this case, I just want to say one word: Kevlar. This is probably the most resilient lightweight case that’s available today. It will probably last you much longer than your phone. The case minimal protection against bumps and serious impacts, but when it comes to scratching and small daily impacts you are in as safe hands as it gets.

The case still leaves the phone’s screen exposed. If you are concerned about it getting scratched, you might want to invest in a screen protector.

If you are in the market for a minimalistic yet durable case for your iPhone 6 then you will probably not find anything stronger yet elegant than this case. Strongly recommended.
