Instant Read Meat and Candy Digital Kitchen Thermometer from ChefEez
I don’t often cook meat, and one of the main reasons is probably because it’s very hard for me to gauge how well done it gets while cooking. This compact meat thermometer largely leaves out the guesswork and allows you a very precise and accurate cooking. I’ve only used it for about a week, but so far it has been a pretty good experience. I’ve used it with grilling of pork and chicken pieces – the two kinds of meat that I particularly have problems with. They both came out well cooked without getting dried.
The thermometer is not hard to use, but it can get a bit unwieldy at times, especially when you are handling several items simultaneously while cooking. It is fairly compact and feels decently made. It’s not the most elegant and impressive kitchen thermometer that Iv’e come across, but it definitely serves it purpose. It is pretty easy to clean, but make sure that you don’t let water reach the handle. I expect this to become one of my main kitchen tools in the upcoming years.
