BasicWu Cooking Instant Read Thermometer

Screen Shot 2015-08-29 at 10.23.21 AMI like to cook, but I am still pretty weary of baking and roasting. Even when I follow the recipe and instructions to the letter, more often than not I end up with either undercooked or overcooked dish. This is particularly the problem with cooking meat. I found that using an appropriate cooking thermometer goes a long way towards getting the dishes right. This small and versatile BasicWu thermometer is a great cooking tool that will help you get your food prepared right.

This compact thermometer largely leaves out the guesswork and allows you a very precise and accurate cooking. I’ve only used it for about a week, but so far it has been a pretty good experience. I’ve used it with grilling of pork and chicken pieces – the two kinds of meat that I particularly have problems with. They both came out well cooked without getting dried.

The thermometer is decently made, but it’s not the highest quality kitchen product that I’ve come across. Nonetheless, so far it has not given me any trouble, and was able to withstand the high heat as well as repeated washings. Recommended.
