iKross Foldable Wireless Bluetooth Compact Keyboard

Screen Shot 2014-05-05 at 3.26.03 PMI like the convenience of having an easily accessible virtual keyboard on my smartphone and tablet computer. However, I do like the action of physical keys for longer typing jobs. Unfortunately most “full sized” physical keyboards are too bulky to take with you around all over the place. This iKross keyboard is foldable and compact enough that it can easily fit in your pocket. However, it is still a very limited keyboard that was not meant for serious typing work.

The keyboard paired quickly and straightforwardly with my iPhone. The small included kickstand helped me prop my iPhone up so it can be easily viewed.

The key action was really not all that great. The keyboard is very cramped and it is very easy to hit the wrong button. The space bar was not very responsive, which added to my frustration.

This keyboard is ideal for people who don’t carry on themselves anything larger than a smartphone. As a smartphone accessory this keyboard does a decent job. However, I would not recommend it to tablet users. If you are already lugging your tablet around you might as well get something that is equal in size that will give you a much more satisfying experience.
