Beyondtek A-3000 Chiclet Style Key Caps Wireless Keyboard Mouse Combo

Screen Shot 2015-03-28 at 3.21.27 PMThis is a very nice and easy to use computer keyboard. Iy is especially appealing to those of us who prefer lightweight wireless keyboards. It comes with a small wireless mouse, and it uses an RF wireless dongle for connectivity. In general when it comes to wireless peripherals I prefer Bluetooth keyboards and mice since with them I don’t have to deal with extra dongles. However, in my experience except for a few high end ones most Bluetooth keyboards are not as versatile as the RF ones.

The keyboard was easy to setup with both my Mac mini as well as my Dell Windows desktop computer. Mac was running OS X Yosemite, and the PC had Windows 8.1 installed. Both of them recognized the keyboard and the mouse almost instantly.

I like this keyboard’s very responsive thin “chiclet” keys. I much prefer these to the old style raised keys. This, of course, is a personal preference, but since it this review is based on my opinion, this is what I think a good keyboard ought to be like.

This is not the flashiest keyboard in terms of design, but this doesn’t bother me. The keyboard overall feels well made and sturdy. I expect to get a lot of milage out of it.

The mouse is ona small side for my taste, but otherwise it worked reasonably well.

Overall, this is a decent product that serves its basic purpose well.
