GRDE Solar Powered LED Crystal Glass Ground Buried Brick Light

Screen Shot 2014-09-10 at 11.34.46 AMThis is a neat little solar light that can add some character and fun to your pathway. It seems to be well made out of pretty rugged glass, and after a few weeks of use I did not notice any wear. It also seems very waterproof, as it has survived some serious thunderstorms and showers over the past few weeks.

The light is pretty small. I was hoping it would be more of the size of a typical ground tile, but it is much smaller than that. It is really an accent light, rather than something to give of a lot of light from underneath.

The light is pretty bright, especially at very dark night. A single light, again, serves more of an accent than a really useful light. However, at $15 for a single light it is not the most economical way of lighting your outside footpaths. I am also not too keen on the jazzy color-changing lighting. It’s more appropriate for a party setting and nightclub than for a suburban home.

The light seems to last for a while on a single charge. I don’t know how long, since by the morning it is always off, but no matter how late I had stayed up at night I was always able to see it shining.
