GMYLE Black Aluminum Bluetooth Wireless Mini Slim Ultra Light Keyboard

Screen Shot 2014-06-13 at 12.44.28 PMThe keyboard looks and feels very nice. Overall it seems very well made, but there are parts that feel a bit on the cheap side. However, for the price it is one of the best tablet-specific keyboards that I’ve tested.

The key action feels good and the keyboard is fairly responsive. I am very partial towards Apple keyboards, both in terms of the design and key action, so I don’t feel like this GMYLE keyboard quite measures up to those standards. However, for a tablet-specific keyboard it gets the job done.

The keyboard was easily paired up with my iPad. I was able to use a couple of iOS specific keys, and those worked well.

I really like the 11″ sized keyboard. Too many tablet-specific keyboards are too cramped – unnecessarily so if you ask me. This keyboard is not quite the size of a “full” standard keyboard, but it is good enough and you can for the most part rely on it for composing long documents.

Another cool feature of the 11″ keyboard is the small retractable tablet stand. It is c=very convenient to rest your tablet on it.

The keyboard has a built-in rechargeable battery. It is charged through a micro USB cable slot. That is definitely a big advantage over other keyboards I’ve used, and my Apple one in particular.
