EarPeace HD High Fidelity Hearing Protection: Ear Plugs for Concerts & Music Professionals

Screen Shot 2014-08-07 at 5.31.49 PMI am not a professional musician, nor do I regularly attend loud concerts and night clubs. However, I do use a workshop with a lot of noisy machinery, and so far the only sort of ear protection that I have used have been the soft foam ear plugs. Those work reasonably well, but the downside is that they tend to block all the background noise. Sometimes I’d like to be able to hear my phone ring. This is where these HD earpieces come in handy.

These earpieces are very carefully designed, and you need to faithfully follow the included instructions in terms of how you insert them in your ear. Failure to do so could potentially lead to them getting stuck in your ear – it almost happened to me the first time I tried them. The ear plugs are pretty small and colored in such a way that makes them almost inconspicuous. They are unfortunately not the most comfortable ear plugs that I’ve tried, and don’t enjoy wearing them in the long run.

The ear plug indeed manage to decrease the amount of environmental noise without completely blocking it. They come with two sets of noise filters, but so far I have only used the default set.

These ear plugs come with a very neat metal keychain container. This makes them very convenient to carry around.
