I’ve owned several RC cars over the years, but this scaled-down replica of Audi A7 is by far the best looking and the most powerful in this class of toy cars. It is a really beautiful replica of the real thing, and in and of itself would be a great showpiece to have around. It is also a very powerful RC car with a battery that can last you for a really long time.

The car is for the most part made of the very high quality plastic, and it feels very sturdy. You can see a lot of attention to the detail, including the realistic-looking front grille, the rear-view side mirrors, and the door handles. I would have also liked if the doors could be opened, like in similar diecast models, but this is not a major issue as far as I am concerned.

This toy car, just like the real one, sits pretty close to the ground. This creates a bit of an issue for using this car on anything except very flat and smooth surfaces. Thick carpets are a no-go, as are rough pavements, and don’t even think about going off-road with this thing. Even on a relatively smooth pavements you’ll have to deal with an occasional uneven patch, which will over time leave numerous scratches.

The rechargeable battery is very good, at least compared to all the other RC cars in this category that I’ve tried to use. I was able to go on a two mile walk around the neighborhood with this car, and I still had plenty of juice left over. The battery is a bit inconvenient to remove (you will need a screwdriver), and the non-standard charger does not give you any indications of the charge level. To be on the safe side I would leave it charging overnight.

The remote control is pretty decent, but not nearly as nice and stylish as the car itself. It has an about average range for this type of an RC car, but for the most part it gets the job done. I would have wished it provided a bit more sensitivity and control of the car’s motion, but this is not a major issue.

I overall liked this car. I wish it were easier to maneuver, as that would make it a really great RC car. Nonetheless, it’s a really fun and nice looking toy, and it would make a great gift. Recommended.
