Zeetron Light Up Lightning USB Cable
Every once in a while you come across a product that simply and elegantly solves a problem that you didn’t even know existed. Zeetron Lightning USB cable is one such product. It’s a seemingly simple lighting cable with one important distinction. It comes with a colored LED ring around the base of the lightning plug that changes color once your iOS device is fully charged. So in other words you don’t have to pick up your iPhone any more in order to know if it’s charged or not. A simple glance at the charging cable will tell you. And that’s it – a very simple and elegant solution that simplifies your life just another tiny bit.
I’ve tested this cable with iPad Mini and iPhone 5S, both running iOS 7. It worked perfectly with both. The head of the cable next to the LED is thicker than your regular lightning cable, and this could potentially be an issue if you are using a thick and padded cover or case. The cable overall looks very elegant and well designed. I would have liked if it were a bit longer though, but other than that I have no complaints about it. I also think that it’s pretty competitively priced. Highly recommended to all owners of iOS devices.
