Universal Adjustable Tripod or Monopod Tablet Mount Bracket

Screen Shot 2015-01-30 at 4.05.40 PMTablet computers are a very versatile computer platform. They can accomplish nearly everything that the “regular” laptop computers can, but they can be used in many more unconventional ways. However, many of those uses require some extra specialized accessories and equipment. Among the most important ones are the various mounts and tablet holders.

This tablet bracket is designed for the use of your tablet with a tripod. It is a fairly minimalist bracket that can accommodate a range of different tablets – from iPad Mini to the first generation iPad. The tablet fits inside the extended bracket fairly securely. The bracket is easily mounted on a tripod, and it sits there very snuggly. The only thing that you should keep in mind is that the tablet can be pretty heavy and imbalanced, so you should not tilt it to far from the tripod’s axes.

The bracket seems decently well made, but it did have some defects. One of the small protective rubberized pads was actually detached from the bracket when I got it. It was easily reattached, but this defect has not imbued me with a lot of confidence in the long term durability of this product. Nonetheless, so far it is holding out and will probably serve me well for some time.
