Unitek Y-3068 Smart OTG Charging Docking Station with USB 3.0 Hub+SD Card Reader

Screen Shot 2014-11-12 at 11.50.02 AMI have several smartphones and tablets, and I am constantly in a need of propping them up, charging them, or doing both of those functions at the same time. This compact UNITEK docking station allows me to do both, plus it has the ability to transfer files from an SD card.

The docking station is well made. It is very compact, which makes it an ideal traveling companion. It allows for charging of up to three devices at the same time. The USB 3 connections make it a great way of adding several fast peripherals to your tablet or smartphone. I’ve tested it with a Samsung Galaxy phone, and it had met or exceeded all of my expectations.

I generally prefer mounts that can elevate my phone or tablet. Staring down onto the desk can get pretty tiring if done over a period of time.

One feature that I wish this docking station had is the ability to connect to a TV or a computer monitor via an HDMI cable. Some of the more expensive docking stations allow for this, and I think that including it with this device would only moderately increase its price. That would make it an ideal way of connecting your tablet to a monitor wherever you find yourself.
