TopG Dual USB Car Charger
With USB charging becoming the default option for almost all small (and some large) consumer electronics devices, it is becoming increasingly important and indispensable to have an easy access to the USB charging plugs when you travel. More and more cars nowadays come equipped with at least one USB outlet, but the older cars are still unable to provide you with that kind of charging convenience. Fortunately, there are many USB chargers out there that can plug directly into the car lighter port, and this TopG charger definitely has a lot to offer. It is well made, fairly compact, and allows for a simultaneous charging of a smartphone and a tablet. The dual ports are conveniently accessible and easy to use. I’ve used this charger with my iPhone 4S and first generation iPad and was really satisfied with the experience. The only issue that I have with is concerns the blue LED that the power is flowing to the charger. It is bright, and it can be really distracting and annoying when you are driving at night. You can cover it with a small piece of dark tape, but I’d rather that it was not there.
