Topeak Hexus II Multi-tool – Product Review
This is a very versatile, functional, and portable collection of bike tools. It contains all the basic tools that you’d need for 99.9% of all the on-the-road fixing situations that you might encounter. The tools are very well built, they feel strong and durable, and have performed well when I used them. to be honest I was not familiar with the purpose of couple of the tools in the pack, but the short video on Amazon’s page, as well as some other online resources, have been very helpful in that regard. The tool’s compact size is ideal for taking it on the road or trail with you. I only have a couple of relatively minor issues with this multitool:
1. In their extended configuration the various wrenches are not very rigid, and they move a lot while you use them. This can be annoying when you are trying really hard to tighten a particular screw.
2. The tire lever, while more adequate for their intended use, feel a bit flimsy. I’d recommend getting a separate set of tire levers for use at home.
Overall, though, this tool has been everything that I had expected. I am very satisfied with it.
