Ten Essential Skills for Electrical Engineers

Screen Shot 2014-08-03 at 9.54.34 AMAs a Physicists I have never ventured too deeply into the field of Electrical Engineering, but have definitely needed several circuit designing skills over the course of my career. This book is an ideal small resource for someone like me who needs a general overview of the field of Electrical Engineering without having the time to go too much into depth. The book covers many important topics, providing numerous examples, programming code, and end of the chapter exercises. The book is primarily intended for Electrical Engineering students in a need of a refresher for their job interview, and in my estimation it hits the right kind of balance between information and practical advice for this kind of purpose. It is to be commended as one of the few academic books that really understands the importance of preparing students for the job market, and not just for the academically oriented environment.
