Smart Weigh CSB2KG Cuisine Digital Kitchen Scale
This is a very nicely designed and useful kitchen scale. I’ve used it for a few days now, and have been really pleased with its operation. I’ve tested its accuracy against several known weights, and it was accurate to within 1% of each, oftentimes much better than that.
The detachable bowl that it comes with is useful for both keeping the bulky items constrained, as well as for measuring liquid and powdery substances.
The scale can be used with four different measuring units – g, oz, ozt, dwt. Most recipes that I use measure quantities in pounds and ounces, but oftentimes (for the purposes of a more precise diet for instance) measurements in grams are called for.
The scale works straight out of the box. It can be set up on any clear, flat and sturdy surface. It is very easy to clean, and it doesn’t look prone to damaging.
The only issue that I have with my particular scale is that instead of the “TARE” button my scale came with a “MODE” button. I don’t know if this is just a fluke, because the picture on the package also has a “TARE” written on it. At any rate, this is not such a big deal for me, but it might be something that you should pay attention to.
