Skiva AC/Wall Charger with Lightning Cable [Apple MFi Certified]

Screen Shot 2015-02-09 at 12.48.08 PMI have several iOS devices, and while I love them I am always dismayed that I need to sue very specific cables and chargers with them. I always end up fishing around for the a spare Lightning cable, and I lose them more often than I’d like to admit. This small Skiva Lightning charger comes with a permanently attached Lightning cable, so I don’t ever have to worry about losing it. The charger does one thing only, but it does it well: it charges iOS devices. It is Apple MFi certified, so you will never have to worry if it will become outdated with a release of new version of iOS. I have tested it with iPad Mini, iPhone 5S and iPhone 6 plus and it has worked perfectly with all of them. The charger is well built and seems durable. The retractable prongs are a great feature – it helps with keeping this charger from getting bent while traveling.

I do have a couple of issues with this charger though. The placement of the cable on the side of the charger is not optimal. It gets in a way of other outlets if you use it with a power strip. Placing it on the top (like with the original Apple small square charger) would have worked much better. I also wish the charger came with means of wrapping the Lightning cable around it. Something like the Apple laptop power adapters. It would have made for a much more convenient way of managing your cable while traveling. Overall, though, I am pretty happy with this product.
