Sinoguo Black 54-Inch Automatic Double-canopy Wind-proof Golf Umbrella

Screen Shot 2014-12-15 at 12.38.10 PMI have a small collapsible umbrella that I keep with me in the car all the time. It is a very good umbrella, but like any other umbrella I’ve had over the years it has started to fall apart in all the predictable ways. Plus, as a very small umbrella it never gave me enough protection, especially in a very strong thunderstorm or when I am using it with one other person. A bigger and more durable umbrella would come in really handy. This Sinoguo umbrella fits my needs perfectly.

A big umbrella like this one is great if you are using it with a golf bag or another person. Its pretty large 54″ canopy is big enough to fit two tall people, or a tall person and a golf bag. The canopy’s concave shape works great at preventing the rain from hitting you in the face, even in a strong wind. The canopy features very well designed vents that help with the wind. The umbrella rod is very solidly built, yet it is also very lightweight. The build quality overall is pretty good, but it is not as good as some other big umbrellas that I have recently used. Nonetheless, I expect it will last me many years with moderate use.

I don’t play golf, so I don’t know how well this umbrella would work for that purpose. However, as a general purpose big umbrella it really comes in handy. Recommended.
