Satechi Aluminum Mouse Pad

Screen Shot 2014-03-05 at 11.01.03 AMI’ve used and tested many Satechi products and I am consistently impressed with their quality. Satechi is a leader in innovation and design of your everyday computer office accessories. This mouse pad is no exception.

Made out of a single piece of lightweight aluminum, this mouse pad is probably the most elegant and polished mouse pad that I’ve come across. You probably don’t give much thought to a mouse pad, but a well designed one can really make a huge difference in the way you interact with your computer. The smooth large surface of this mouse pad makes the mouse use feel almost effortless. The mouse pad clings very securely to my desk, almost as if it were glued to it. The surface feels very durable, and it’s scratch resistant. I’ve used it for a few days and now I can’t imagine going back to my regular mouse pad.

One thing to keep in mind about this mouse pad is that, because of its large size, it will make for one really tight fit if you are using a keyboard tray. I am using the small Apple Bluetooth keyboard, and I am for the most part fine. However, if you happen to use the standard sized computer keyboard that has numerical pad and the positional keys then you might run out of tray real estate.
