Professional Premium Grade Gaffer Tape – Black 2 Inch – 60 Yards

Screen Shot 2015-01-09 at 1.52.40 PMLike most people who own a myriad of electronic devices – computers, TVs, audio equipment, peripherals, etc. – I seem to be constantly losing the battle with cables. They are everywhere, and no sooner that I manage to get them under control, I need to reconfigure them or add more devices to the clutter. So far when I’ve tried to actually keep this mess under control, I’ve primarily relied on cable ties. They work pretty well, but I keep losing them and they are not the most convenient solution in general. I decided to give the gaffer tape a try instead. So far I have been pretty happy with the results.

This is very strong and durable tape. One big roll is more than enough for all the use I can ever think of. The tape is easy to peel off and wrap around the cables. It can also be easily ripped, so you don’t need to use the scissors in order to cut it. Cables are held firmly in the place – at least during the short time that I’ve owned this tape and tested it. If you need to undo the tape you just peel it off again and it comes off very easily. The best thing about using the tape to secure the cables is that it can easily be applied to places where other fastening solutions are hard to use – walls, floors, ceiling, inaccessible nooks, etc. The tape leaves no residue behind, so it won’ ruin your wall paint or flooring.

The spool that i got was a bit misshapen during the mailing process. Nonetheless, it was still perfectly useful and functional. It is a pretty heavy spool, much bigger than the duct tape spool that I have.
