Panasonic KX-TG7623B DECT 6.0 Link-to-Cell via Bluetooth Cordless Phone, Black, 3 Handsets – Product Review

Even though I’ve been gradually moving away form using the landline over the past years, there are still tasks for which having a functioning landline is indispensable. This is particularly true in my neck of the woods, since we get a pretty poor cell phone reception. So when our old cordless handset had finally worn out to the point of net being very usable, we decided to go for an upgrade.

The 3-handset Panasonic cordless system seemed to fit our needs perfectly. It uses the latest generation cordless technology, and the three handsets are more than enough for our moderately sized house. The setup was very straightforward, albeit not as brain-dead as plugging in an ordinary corded phone into the wall. The reception was generally very good, although we did ave some minor issues that happened to be related to our overall phone-line at our place. Once it was all set up, I was able to place and receive phone calls from anywhere in the house or outside in the yard. This is a great option to have in case you enjoy lounging outdoors and don’t want to miss any phone calls during that time. I was able to connect my iPhone to this system, and it worked as advertised. However, I prefer to keep the two modes of communication as separate as possible. I was also able to pair the headsets with a bluetooth headphones, but like all the other bluetooth mediated connections it had too much of an echo (especially at the other end of the line) which made this far from an ideal means of communicating.

Overall, I am very pleased with both the functionality, as well as the design of this cordless phone system. Would recommend it to anyone with a moderately sized home or business.
