National Parks on Google Maps

Screen Shot 2013-11-20 at 11.01.57 AMIf you are like me you are already starting to dread the next few months of Winter. (Unless you live in the warmer climate of the Southern Hemisphere. In which case, please don’t talk to me. I am too jealous right now. ) And if you are even more like me you are longing for a long road trip to a picturesque natural destination. Unfortunately those road trips will have to wait for a while, but the second best thing could be a virtual trip thanks to Google maps. Over there they had just announced a completion and availability of a grand total of 44 mapped and imaged national parks in US and Canada. Some of the views look stunning, and it’s really fun to take these virtual tours. I just wished Google Maps had a native app for Google TV. You really need to partake in these majestic views and panoramas on a large screen.
