LinkS 10FT MHL2.0 to HDMI Adapter for Samsung Smartphones and Tablets

Screen Shot 2015-02-10 at 3.35.16 PMJust got the cable and connected my old Galaxy S3 to my 55″ HDTV. I used one of my TVs USB ports for connecting the “regular” USB cable for power. The TV immediately recognized my phone, and the phone’s image immediately appeared. A 10 Ft cable is long enough for me to comfortably sit in my armchair as I use the phone to watch video content and perform other similar tasks. I downloaded a couple of HD video games (Marvel Superheroes, etc.) and really enjoyed playing them. This cable essentially turns your Samsung smartphone into a full-blown gaming console! I did not have any issues whatsoever with either the picture quality or the lag. Didn’t notice any cable overheating issues, but my phone did get really hot. However, this was fairly typical of my phone whenever I play more intense video content. The only other issue that I noticed was that I got a small spark of static electricity as I was getting off the chair and rubbed myself against the fabric. this caused the loss of signal, but I was able to re establish it by just unplugging and plugging the cable back in.

The cable seems to have rather average build quality. It can also be used to charge your phone while you are not using it. I also tried using it with a non-Samsung Android tablet, but with no results.

Overall, this is a decent cable that can provide you with a lot of fun for your Samsung smartphone.
