Kindle Fire, like most other touch-screen devices, is a very easy and intuitive device. However, if you are not familiar with such devices, or want to understand how Kindle Fire differs from the others, then you might want to consider getting a user guide that will help you with your inquiries. “How to do Everything Kindle Fire” is one such book, and it will help you get a better sense of Amazon’s revolutionary tablet.

The writing in the book is accessible and clear, although I find it a bit too verbose. If you need very detailed instructions on how to accomplish things on your Kindle Fire, then you may appreciate this aspect of the book. All of the topics are covered in some depth, with a lot of explanatory and in-depth material. If you are just looking for a quick way of getting around your Kindle Fire, then you might want to check out Kindle Fire QuickSteps instead. However, if you are interested in getting to understand the rationale behind much of the Kindle Fire’s functionality design, then this book would be a good resource to consider.

One thing that I don’t like about this book is the quality of graphics. All the screenshots are fairly small and black and white. For the most part these illustrations are still useful for understanding the topics and material that are covered, but on a few shots text is so small that it’s practically illegible.

Overall, this is a pretty decent guide and resource for all Kindle Fire users.
