Hanzeek Premium 6-piece Ceramic Knives
This is the first set of ceramic knives that I’ve used, and so far I have been really impressed with them. At first it took me a bit to get used to them, since the blades have a very different feel to them than the metal knives. They are incredibly sharp, and I was able to use them for all cutting purposes that I’ve used the “regular” knives for before. At first I thought that these knives would be very brittle, but they turned out to be quite resilient. I would still not use them for more rough cutting tasks – such as frozen items or small bones.
The plastic handles are very colorful. This may not be after everyone’s taste, but I enjoy more vibrancy in the kitchen. The handles feel good and comfortable in your hand. They are pretty well balanced.
The knives don’t generally need to be sharpened. The advantage of ceramic knives is that they are dishwasher safe.
The knife holder is pretty decent and innovative looking. It serves its purpose, although I prefer a traditional block design.
Overall, a great set of knives. Recommended.
