CES 2014

CES2014CES officially started today, and while I am stuck in Midwest under the arctic weather condition, I am beating myself for not being in Vegas this of all years for this of all years. So while I am unable to personally check out all the cool new gizmos, gadgets, toys and widgets, I have been trying to keep abreast for the happenings via several of my personal favorite tech blogs. I am reloading the blog pages even more frequently than usual, and here are a few of my most valued sources of information on CES 2014 happenings:

My impression is that this year’s big things are even bigger, 4K,  TVs (each TV manufacturer seems to have come out with its own flagship 4K TV this year), smart devices, and wearable computing. So far I Have not seen any single unique revolutionary device, but each year it seems that last year’s cutting edge product categories have spawned a host of new subcategories. That in itself seems to be the most revolutionary development in its own right.
