Case Logic QHDC-101 Portable EVA Hard Drive Case – Product Review

I have several Case Logic products, and have been very satisfied with them. I entrust them to keep many of my portable electronic devices safe and secure. This hard drive case is no exception. I have several external hard drives that I use primarily for computer backup, as well as the storage of large media files that I like to keep portable. I have never felt good enough about taking them with me on a trip. However, since on occasion I go on longish trips and I take my laptop along, I thought it would be a good idea to be able to take my media library with me wherever I go.

This case is very well built and it comfortably fits most small external hard drives (I have tested it with Toshiba Canvio 1.0 TB USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive). It also has plenty of room for all the necessary cords, with an elastic compartment separator that keeps them apart. The zipper is sturdy, and seem like it will not be falling apart for the duration of this product’s life. The reinforced internal lining will probably protect your hard drive from most direct impacts, but it may not give you too much protection from accidental drops – most cases can’t help you much in that regard. Overall, this is a very solid product that provides you with a peace of mind when traveling with your important external hard drive.
