Aurum Cables Cat6 250 Ft – Ethernet Network Cable – 550 Mhz

Screen Shot 2014-10-15 at 2.28.15 PMThis 250-foot Ethernet cable is a good and inexpensive Ethernet cable. I use it to connect all of my internet-enabled devices in the living room with the router that is in my office. The cable is very flexible and well made. The fastening clips are secure and you don’t have to fret that the cable will easily fall out when accidentally yanked.

The performance thus far seems to be just what I had expected. I’ve been able to use it for streaming HD online videos and have had no issues with the streaming lag or picture quality. The Cat6 cables are an improvement over my old Cat5 cables, and they help me get the most out of the latest generation of internet modems and routers. They should in principle be capable of supporting 10 Gbit transfer speeds, but since none of my computers are capable of that transfer rate I could not be certain that they are indeed that good. It’s good to know that once I get the next generation of computers, routers and modems I should be all set when it comes to having appropriate cables.

The included cable ties are also a great feature to have that will reduce your cable clutter, although with these very short cables that may not be that much of an issue. Overall, this is a great product that I expect to serve me for years to come.

Overall, this is a great product. I highly recommend it.
