9To5Cables High Speed Premium HDMI Cable with Ethernet (3 feet) Full HD
HDMI has become the de-facto standard in audio-visual signal transmission in the home entertainment system. It has almost completely supplanted a variety of older multi-cable configurations, which is a great advancement in terms of decluttering our homes. Furthermore, as an all-digital standard HDMI provides a very reliable and speedy signal transmission. The digital nature of HDMI makes it less susceptible than many previous standards to the differences in the cable quality, but it does not completely obviate such considerations.
There are many very good high-quality cable options out there, but in my experience the price differential that one pays for some of these cables is not entirely justified by their overall quality. Until now for me the best option when it comes to the combination of high quality and reasonable price have been the Amazon Basics products. However, now that I have come across the 9to5Cables, I have a new favorite.
This relatively short cable is ideal for connecting the devices that are positioned relatively close to each other. The cable looks and feels exceptionally well made – it is one of the strongest and thickest cables that I have tested. The ends fit snugly into my devices, and I don’t have to worry about them getting accidentally dislodged, even during those rare moments when I am tinkering with my devices behind the entertainment center.
The picture and audio quality delivered by these cables are exceptional. This is particularly noticeable with the high-end HD TVs (I’ve tested the cable with my 47″ LG Google TV with the 240 Hz refresh rate.), but even the older and not as advanced can benefit from such high-quality cables.
The cable comes in an easy-to-open cardboard box that is at least as “frustration-free” as the equivalent Amazon packagings.
This cable has clearly been designed with the highest standard in mind, and I would strongly recommend it to anyone who needs an inexpensive quality cable for their home entertainment system.
