500th Tunguz Review Post
When I started posting my reviews on my own blog about a year and a half ago I really didn’t know what to expect. Gaining audience for a new technology, gadgets and science blog seemed like a daunting prospect, especially if I wanted to do it organically without any SEO tricks. For many months it looked like the audience was slow to come, but eventually it did start materializing. Now I have a steady stream of visitors, which in turn puts additional pressure on me to produce content on a regular basis. Fortunately, I have been able to raise to the challenge, and as 2013 expires I’ve reached my goal for the year of posting the total of 500 unique blog posts.
This is as good of an occasion as any to set some goals for 2014. I hope that next year I will be able to double this number and surpass 1000 blog posts. I intend to keep providing unique insights into various gadgets and technologies that come about in the new year. I would also like to be able to do some cross-blog collaboration or have guest contributors in general. Bojan Tunguz was born in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which he and his family fled during the civil war for the neighboring Croatia. Over the past two decades he has studied, lived and worked in the United States. He is a theoretical physicist with degrees from Stanford and University of Illinois. Tunguz has taught physics at several prominent liberal arts colleges and has been writing about physics, science and technology for more than a decade. He also has a wide spectrum of interests, and reads and writes about current events, society, culture, religion and politics. Over the years he has reviewed many of the books that he has read, and posted his reviews on various online outlets. In 2011 he had become a top 10 reviewer on Amazon.com, where he continues to be very active. Aside from reading and writing, Tunguz enjoys traveling, digital photography, hiking, and fitness.
