1Byone Safety Driveway Patrol Infrared And Wireless Home Security Alert Alarm System
We live in a secluded neighborhood, and while our area is generally safe, over the years we’ve had quite a few unexpected “visitors” late at night or while we were not at home. (Like that jerk who damaged our snowman last winter.) It would be very nice to get an alert for when one such intruder comes around our house, and for such purposes and for our level of security this small infrared security alert system is perfect.
I’ve installed the detector above our garage door, and have it pointing downward so that it would not receive any false alarms form the street. The system was not too hard to set up, although it requires a very finicky and well-coordinated sequence of steps to be followed. I use the receiver inside the house and I have been able to receive the signal no matter how far away from the transmitter I placed it. I did have a few false positives so far (probably a cat and/or a squirrel), but those are generally not significant enough to bother me.
The system looks and feels very decently made. I have not used it long enough to find out how long the batteries last. It is very affordable and a very easy way to get a motion detection system installed to any area. Recommended.
