10X 25MM RUBY OPTIC MINI HAND SCOPE

Screen Shot 2014-01-07 at 11.26.03 AMI was looking for an inexpensive monocular scope for a small project that I was working on. My project is mean to be a test-of-principle prototyping exercise, so I was not too concerned with the quality – price was more of a driving consideration. This monocular fit nicely within those parameters. It turned out to be a much better build quality than I had anticipated. It feel solid and durable. However, the optics is just barely passable. You can look at distant object, but they appear out of focus and foggy. It served my purpose, but that’s the best I can say about it. It’s a nice little toy, but I would not rely on it for any serious applications.
