First A6 benchmarks show iPhone 5 faster than any Android device, for now – National Technology | Examiner.com
It seems that Apple’s usual presentation tall talk about iPhone 5 was not an exaggeration. In fact, according to the benchmarking tests, iPhone 5 is not 2 but 2.5 times faster than iPhone 4S, and 3 times faster than iPad 3. It is even faster than the best Android devices out there, Samsung’s Galaxy S III and Google’s Nexus 7.
I am stil not going to buy iPhone 5, I’m perfectly happy with what iPhone 4S provides me with, but it’s good to know that Apple is committed to delivering the best hardware out there at the same price as its competitors. The days of “Apple Tax,” the practice that Apple used to have of pricing its computers 2 to 3 times what its competitors did for pretty much the same hardware, seem to be forever gone.
