Bolse® NFC Enabled Bluetooth Music Receiver – Bluetooth wireless audio receiver
There are plenty of Bluetooth speakers and stereos out there, but if you happen to own a “legacy” stereo that is still performing really well acoustically, then you are out of luck when it comes to streaming audio from your favorite portable media device to it. This is where this Bolse Bluetooth music receiver comes in. It is small, portable, and it works with either RCA or 3.5 mm jack. I was able to pair up my iPhone pretty quickly. I don’t own any NFC-enabled devices, so I was not able to test how ell this feature works. Once paired, I was able to stream my music easily. The sound was pretty good, but if you are an audiophile you should be warned: no Bluetooth streaming solution will be able to carry the datastream sufficiently high for the really good sound. It’s just the inherent limitation of this wireless standard. The receiver comes with a micro USB power supply, which means that you’ll be able to power this device with any standard micro USB power source. I was also able to charge it with an external power bank, but it was not possible to use this setup continuously.
Overall, this is a pretty neat device that serves its purpose rather well.
