FUEL iON Car Mount
I love my iPhone, but I don’t like to have to constantly remember to charge it. Fiddling with all the charging cables that I have to deal with has become a nightmare. Unfortunately, iPhones still don’t feature wireless charging. There is hope that Apple may incorporate it in a future version of this product (just like they did with Apple Watch), but for now we have to do with third party solutions like this Fuel Ion concept.
The Fuel Ion case is a pretty decent product. It is just bulky and protective enough for my taste, but if you need more robust protection you may opt for other options. The charging time is similar to the “regular” charging via Thunderbolt cable.
The car mount is pretty decent. Your iPhone sticks to it pretty firmly, but not as firmly as with a more mechanical attachment. I haven’t had any incidents of my iPhone flying off yet, but it still feels a bit flimsy. The mount allows for an easy attachment and rotation of your iPhone though almost any angle. The suction cup is also pretty strong.
Overall, I am pretty happy with Fuel Ion products and technology. It serves my needs well.
