WeCharger Ultra Portable MacBook Super Fast Car Charger/Adapter 45w/60w/85w – Magsafe2
This is a very convenient and effective car charger for the latest generation of MacBook computers. I’ve used it to charge the MacBook pro while driving, and it worked exactly as advertised. The charging was quick, and the cable/adapter quality seems to be pretty good. I would strongly recommend it to anyone who needs to be charging their MacBook computers on-the-go.
My main issue with this charger is that it’s not backward compatible with the earlier version of magnetic safe chargers. I have an older (2011) MacBook Air, and I was not able to attach the magnetic tip to it. To a large extent this is not the fault of the manufacturer – Apple likes changing the design of their cables every few years or so. However, if this cable was detachable from the adapter they could have included an additional smaller cable that is compatible with the previous generation of MacBooks. Nonetheless, this is still a really good and useful product.
