V7 LCD Monitor or TV Articulating Wall Mount for Flat Panel Screen 10″-32″ with VESA 200/100/75mm (WCL2DA55-2N)

Screen Shot 2015-01-28 at 4.35.54 PMThis wall mount is my first ever attempt to mount one of my LCD TVs on a wall. Until recently I didn’t really see the need for such an arrangement, but as the clutter of TVs and monitors in my home escalated over the years I had decided that the time has come to start using the part of my real estate that I am in no danger of running out any time soon – my walls.

Before you decide to venture into mounting things on walls make sure that you are comfortable enough with various hardware tools, especially power screwdrivers and drills. If you are mounting the monitor on a drywall then you will also most definitely need a stud finder. I got one recently precisely for this purpose, and it worked really well.

This is a very versatile mount for almost all sizes LCD monitors and smaller TVs – 10” to 32”. I’ve mounted a Westinghouse 24” TV/monitor, and I can assure you that the mount works with the higher-end of the recommended range of monitor sizes.

The mount looks and feels very well built. It comes with w set of screws that are as good as the mount itself.

My monitor has been mounted on the wall for a week, and so far this mount has been everything I was hoping it to be. If you are feeling a bit more in the DIY mood you may want to consider guiding the power and video cables through the wall instead of having them dangle in the midair. This is something that I am strongly considering right now.
