The Unique Starry String Lights
This is one of the most elegant and simple strings of lights that I’ve come across. The embedded LED lightbulbs are very small and unobtrusive, yet they are very bright. The 120 lightbulbs are strung together on a long thin double copper wire that is lacquered but otherwise looks exposed. At first the idea of using what looked like a long exposed copper wire for decoration seemed odd and tacky, but when I put it around my large living room windows and turned on the lights I could immediately see that we had a winner. The lights were glimmering with the warm color that very nicely matched the surrounding wire. They really work well in conjunction with each other.
The advantages of using a solid copper wire instead of a regular electric connecting wire are numerous. Copper wire is very flexible, and yet it can be put into a fixed shape of one’s choosing. It can rigidly adhere to any structure or constraint that one puts it into, and is thus very pliable and can serve many creative purposes. The lacquered finish also ensures that the lights can be used outdoors, although you should not expose the power source itself to the elements. I’ve put these lights up for this year’s Christmas decoration, but I am seriously considering keeping them around for decorative purposes year round. I only wish that the power source came with an easy switch – I don’t like having to unplug the lights from the wall outlet in order to turn them off.
Hi! I asked Bojan to review my product in Amazon. He very diligently did the review that you can read above immediately after receiving my sample, without delay.
He has done a very well written review, with a lovely approach to a romantic product. He has really caught the essence of it. I am very grateful and very happy with Bojan’s work.
