SecurityIng 600 Lumens Zoomable XM-L T6 LED Flashlight
LED Flashlights have by now become quite common, and they can come in handy in a variety of uses. This particular SecurityIng 600 lumens flashlight provides a very bright and powerful illuminating light beam. It is powered by a rechargeable 1800 mAh battery and comes with the included battery charger. The battery is cylindrical and non-standard shaped, and it’s not manufactured by any recognizable brand. It’s supposed to be long lasting, but without prolonged use I will not be able to judge its merits. The battery was taking really long time to charge (at least a few hours), and it’s probably best to be left overnight for a full charge.
The flashlight throws one very bright light beam that can be illuminate well ahead. I’ve tested it up and down our street, and the 50 – 100 m illumination distance seems to be consistent with my experience. One issue that I have with the light beam is that it’s very narrow and it cannot be adjusted in terms of its light dispersal like some other brand flashlights. This might be a serious consideration if you are looking for anything other than a narrow beam light flashlight.
The flashlight operates in five different modes – high, medium and low beam, as well as strobe and SOS functions. I predominantly use the high beam option, but can see how the other ones can come in handy.
The flashlight is really well built. It’s made out of solid metal outside casing that fits well in your hand. The on/off button is made out of rubber and it’s not easily depressed, which is handy in case you carry the flashlight in your pocket and don’t want it going on by accident. The flashlight looks like it could be waterproof, but I don’t see this feature mentioned anywhere and I am not too eager to test it myself.
Overall, very well designed and built small LED flashlight. There are a couple of features that could use some improvement, but otherwise it performs as advertised. 4.5 stars.
