LinkS SuperSpeed USB 3.0/2.0 to VGA Adapter for Windows

Screen Shot 2015-03-11 at 12.32.10 PMThis is a decent little cable adapter that allows you to use your USB 3 port to attach an older legacy VGA monitor. I’ve been able to use it to add a second monitor to my old Dell computer, and for the most part it worked fine. You could still see a bit of a picture lag, as compared to my “dedicated” VGA monitor, but that’s to be expected. The cable adapter comes with a small installation CD, which I didn’t end up needing. The cable seems well manufactured and durable. I have not tried using this cable adapter with the USB 2 ports, and in general would not recommend that you try it with those either. They just don’t provide enough data speed for video applications, except perhaps for very low resolution monitors.
