LEPOWER 4 LED Waterproof Solar Powered Motion Sensor Light

Screen Shot 2015-04-09 at 4.14.17 PMThis is a very well made and convenient little outdoor solar light. Our neighborhood is not very well lit, and we don’t always turn the light on our front porch on, so it can sometimes be a bit tricky for people who come to the front door late at night to see the best way of accessing us and finding the doorbell. This little light helps a great deal in that regard. Kit provides just enough light when there is someone moving around, and stays off otherwise. It is small and easy to install – you just need to screw in one large screw and you are done. No need to run all sorts of wiring and cables. The light absorbs solar energy during the day, and it turns itself on automatically after dark. I was actually really surprised how much light it emits. I have several other solar lights around my house, and this one is one of the brightest. I am not too thrilled with the quality of its emitted light though. It is very sterile and cold, and it reminds me of hospital lighting. It is nonetheless a very useful light to have.

The light is mostly made out of plastic. So far it seems durable and waterproof. I’ve used it for about a week, and have only had the best of an experience with it. If anything changes in that regard I’ll make sure to post an update.
