Digital Meat Thermometer

Screen Shot 2014-08-13 at 3.51.04 PMI don’t often cook meat, and one of the main reasons is probably because it’s very hard for me to gauge how well done it gets while cooking. This large meat thermometer largely leaves out the guesswork and allows you a very precise and accurate cooking. I’ve only used it for about a week, but so far it has been a pretty good experience. I’ve used it with grilling of pork and chicken pieces – the two kinds of meat that I particularly have problems with. They both came out well cooked without getting dried.

The thermometer is not hard to use, but it can get a bit unwieldy at times, especially when you are handling several items simultaneously while cooking. It is very large and feels well made. The prongs were easy to clean. I expect it to last me a few years at least.
