CTA Digital Anti-Theft Security Case with Stand for iPad Air and iPad Air 2

Screen Shot 2015-02-09 at 11.50.42 AMI love my iPad, and enjoy working with it in all sorts of places. However, leaving it sitting around is just a magnet for petty thieves. Tablet and smartphone theft is on the rise, and it’s very important to start taking small electronics device security seriously.

CTA Digital security case with stand is one of the smallest and most convenient tablet security mounts that I’ve come across. It seems very well built and sturdy. This small and convenient security case allows you to put your iPad Air inside it and use it more or less unobstructed save for the tether it is attached to. The case is attached to a nice and sturdy tablet mount that will keep your iPad elevated at all times. The mount provides you with a variety of viewing angles. It is also pretty solidly built, and not easily moved around. This setup seems ideal for a small shop that uses iPad as a cash register or a point-of-sale device with some third-party apps (say Square).

The case and stand give me quite a bit of sense of security when leaving my iPad unattended. However, it is quite likely that a very determined thief with some appropriate tools might still be able to easily snatch it. This protection device is not designed for such determined professionals, but for all those casual thieves that you might come across in your daily work.

The security cable for this stand is very solid and it won’t be easy to break. The small lock also seems very sturdy and well designed.

Overall, this is a pretty solid introductory level security device for your iPad Air.
